I haven't heard of this, but I'm definitely going to check it out. I have HOOKED (Writing Fiction that Grabs Readers at Page one and Never Lets Them Go) by Les Edgerton. It's a great little book and I found it very helpful. But I'm definitely going to pick up your suggestion!Karen

I do believe I own that book now that I think of it. And if I recall it was pretty good. Reminds you of things you may have overlooked if you've been writing a while, and I good book if you are just now getting into novel writing.
Haven't even heard of it. But I hope it helps you. Thanks for following me and after checking your blog I'm following you and adding your blog to my blogroll.
I've never heard of it, but the title speaks loud and clear and I agree with it, both as a reader and a writer. The first five pages need to grab hold and not let go.
I haven't read this one yet, but would like to.
I love this book! Thanks for visiting my page too.
