And the Winner is...
Today we are announcing the winner of last weeks game on Crystal Collier's blog.
Game - I shared two truths and a lie. Today, we tell you which was the lie. Everyone who got the answer correct over the course of the week was put into a drawing for the prize.
Giveaway - One winner has been selected to receive a FREE ebook copy of my western short story "Broken Angel".
Click the link above to see which choice was the lie, and who won the prize.
Crystal actually hosts this same game every Wednesday on her blog. It's a great way to meet new authors, and show some blog support/love. So, if you have time, come play the game and then check back each week for the correct answer, the announced prize winner, and a chance to play with a new writer.

A to Z Challenge Reflection
This was the seventh year for this challenge and my sixth time participating.
I want to thank the Challenge Team and anyone else who participates or helps to make this happen each year. The blogging community has been a great confidence boost to so many of us, and this challenge has led to some great friends and connections.
I enjoyed this year as much as I have in the past. While I didn't meet as many new bloggers (most people have been participating for several years now) I did have the chance to reconnect with a few who had fallen by the wayside.
My theme each year is always related to my reading, writing, or publishing in some way, but this years challenge gave me a reason to remember some great times, organize some files, and plan several future projects. So, as usual, I would call this challenge a complete success on several levels.
I would definitely participate again in the future.
If you'd like to learn more, visit other participants, or share your own reflections, please visit: http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/

IWSG: Take a Chance
It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! founded by Alex J. Cavanaugh. Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click on the tab above and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs. You can also join us on twitter using the hashtag #IWSG, or on the Facebook page.
It doesn't matter how long you've been writing, how many publications you've appeared in, or how much success you've achieved - inevitably you will still struggle with confidence from time to time.
Writer's block pops up, life interferes, old doubts resurface - don't let them. When you feel yourself wanting to retreat it's okay to allow yourself time, but eventually you must
And if you're very lucky, you'll have days where you
