Freedom

Today's Seuss-ism comes from Yertle the Turtle:

Don't you love how he snuck such marvelous words of wisdom and simple revelations into his tales? We never consciously notice them at such a young age. It's wonderful to revisit them as adults and realize how much has stayed with us, and how many of his words were filled with more wisdom than nonsense.

Freedom is something I fear we take far too much for granted these days.

The nonsense was the spoon full of sugar to get the message down. Good luck from an A to Z blog hoping friend.

Dr. Seuss was amazing. Freedom is precious and we take it for granted in the US. I guess because we've always had it. Wonderful post. I'm following you now. Thanks for visiting my blog.
