Brainstorm

As promised, my posts this month will be based on a Seuss-ism...

Today is about "Brainstorming" and the quote is from The Glunk That Got Thunk

"Think! Think!" she cried.
Her Thinker-Upper gave a snorty snore.
It started thunk-thunk-thunking
As it never had before.
With all her might, her eyes shut tight,
She cried, "Thunk-thunk some more!"

Don't give up - You are smart enough to figure anything out!

This sounds like me when my brain refuses to put words in the right order :). Happens more often than I would like!

I'm pretty sure yours is one of my favorite themes so far. My favorite Seuss book is "Oh The Things You Can Think".

Stopping in from the A to Z Trail!

I used to love to read Dr. Seuss to my (now grown) son but I must admit, I never heard of either of the two stories you based your posts for "A" and "B" on. So I had to look them up, all strung out after an almost 11 hour road trip. (Head still spinning). I've just followed your blog. I love your theme, and I can't wait to see what you will choose for the other letters. Alana-Ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

Oh, I have a preschool student who is in desperate need of a Thinker-Upper. She can't figure out how to do ANYTHING (or won't - much easier for me or mom or ANYONE else to do it for her!).

That last line makes for a great motto for the AtoZ, especially a few of the letters.

I LOVE your theme! I can't think of a better way to speak to all things human than through Dr. Seuss.
