JULY QUESTION - Juneta Key says "99% of my story ideas come from dreams. Where do yours predominantly come from?"
MY ANSWER - While I have indeed been inspired by dreams, I have just as often been inspired by songs, snippets of overheard conversations, emotions I'm exorcising, and people and places I come across in my travels.

I think you got a different question than the rest of us. I remember being so excited when I wrote my first book. Now I'm more realistic about the process.
Yeah, the newsletter went out with the wrong question but Juneta updated it the next day.
I never saw my writing as a career until I was in my forties. It's been a long journey to publication but I found on-line writer groups and joined two in-person writer groups.
