It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click on the tab above and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. I encourage everyone to visit at least a dozen new blogs and leave a comment. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs.
Today is also the first day of the "A to Z Challenge" and as promised, my posts this month will be based on a Seuss-ism...
Today is about "Facing Up to Adversity" and while this theme can be found in MANY books, including Seuss titles, today's quote is from I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew.
No matter what struggles you are facing in your life - professional or personal - each day is a fresh start and a chance to conquer anything! Best of luck, and if you are participating in this challenge, I look forward to visiting with you!

This is so awesome. I love it.
I enjoyed this Sylvia ... and am looking forward to reading all of the Seuss-isms you share this month. I don't know if you are still a part of the Writer's group in Lake Charles. I haven't been in forever as the drive is so long for me. But I often think of my writing friends that I met there and I do enjoy seeing your posts via Facebook and your blog. Blessings to you!
Love your use of Adversity, adored Dr. Zeus when teaching young children, Sylvia. Please do sign up for my monthly newsletter by visiting my website if you have a moment, I badly need encouragement in my personal adversity x
Dr. Seuss... shares some odd but true real life comparisons... nice.
Welcome in the "A"... as a host I am stopping by to say thank you!

HOLLYWOOD NUTS!
Come Visit: You know you want to know if me or Hollywood... is Nuts?
Sometimes this is the only language adversity understands.
I love it! Having a bat to swing is a great way of dealing with troubles... ;) Thanks for the visit!

Wouldn't it be great if we could carrying a bat everywhere we go? Then again...maybe not a good idea. :P lol
What a great idea for the A to Z Challenge, Sylvia! Brilliant! I've been a Suess fan since he first started publishing. I've slid your illustration to my desktop for inspiration! I'm visiting today as an IWSG co-host, and I thank you for an inspiring post!
Great theme for A to Z. I'm not organized enough to have a theme. Well, maybe I do have a theme...it's random crap!
Great quote :) And great theme!
I LOVE Seuss and read him to my kids. I still have most of the books I grew up with, to give to my grandkids, I hope, one day! I'm so excited you chose this theme!

I love motivational quotes, and I love the one by Dr. Seuss. Thanks!
Dr Seuss was a firm favourite with my kids in the 70s and 80s and now my grandchildren are reading them.
I love that quote.
What a great topic! I am looking forward to reading more when I have more time.
