New

It's funny how much we hate trying new things - especially when we are young. Todays Seuss-ism from Green Eggs and Ham is just one instance of how the good doctor showed us that new can be a good thing.

I do not like
green eggs
and ham!
I do not like them,
Sam-I-am.

You do not like them.
So you say.
Try them! Try them!
And you may.
Try them and you may, I say.

You know, unless it is just a fool hardy proposition or an illegal one, we all really should sample everything in life at least once, if we can.

Having the opportunity to travel quite a bit, I say that I do my best to be open in trying new things, specially with food. South East Asia offers real gastronomic adventure!

It's never an easy ordeal to try new things because you don't know what the outcome will be. I guess I'm almost an exception cos I like to try new things (with an almost predictable outcome)

Visiting during the #Challenge is full of surprises like this fun theme for the month of April. I always start with fellow writers, and here you are. Thanks for a short, but delightful visit. Between the laughs of Dr. Seuess, come and visit me if you can. I'll be watching for you.
