Loyalty

I meant what I said
And I said what I meant...
An elephant's faithful
One hundred per cent!

I absolutely adore Horton. Thankfully Seuss gave us several books with this character, and loyalty is just one of the many ethical lessons we enjoyed learning from him.

How much do you value loyalty?

I value loyalty above everything else. I mean everything! It is the single most important factor and quality of any relationship. Trust is hard to earn and easy to lose. If you cannot count on loyalty from the people in your life, then you have nothing. Loyalty is closely related to trust, but it extends even further. Our loyalty duty and obligation extends so far. We have to remain loyal to people even when we don't agree with them or even condone what they do. You can and should be loyal without compromising your own ethics or morals. Your letter L choice was excellent.
