I'm a big fan of J. S. Bell, and have two of his books: Plot and Structure, and Revision and Self-Editing. I haven't tried Bell's fiction, yet.
I also try to do as he suggests and write a minimum of 350-500 words a day. That's a valuable lesson. (Bell, Don Maass, S. King all inspire me in my writing.)
Enjoyed this post, Sylvia. Thanks for the links.
I do believe I have one of his books: Plot and structure- and I have to say he's pretty darn good.
I think his characters book is only 1.99 on Kindle now too. Woohoo! I nabbed those deals already. They're having a holiday sale and one day I ordered a slew of well-known writing books for the grand total of $7. I felt like I just won the lottery! I didn't know about the video, though-- thanks for that heads-up.
Julie - which book are you referring to? I didn't see a character one.
never heard of him but you have peaked this girl's interest!!
