Fixing...

I'm in that place where I've spent so much time editing a piece, I wonder if it's even the same thing I started with, if it can be fixed, or if it should just slither into the trash to die. Break time...

How is your WIP coming along?

I think every piece of writing ends up a different piece than you begin with. But good luck with your editing. And I'm sure it should not die!

Sometimes time away from a WIP serves it best. Once you return with a clear head, that is.

My WIP is coming along very slowly. In fact, snails have been known to travel faster. But my doc wants me to keep writing, for the sake of my (questionable) sanity.

This transition from journalism to fiction is "interesting."

Blessings and Bear hugs!

I'm with Rob-bear, I'll get there eventually. And,must admit, it changes and evolves all the time.

I'm also on break...contemplating edits on the draft I just finished while brainstorming for the next book. I do think deep breaths and time away can lend excellent perspective.
