Finances: God Will Provide

I want to teach my children to have a close relationship with our Lord and Savior. Prayer habits that last a lifetime are most often formed in childhood. As adults model meaningful prayer lives, kids will learn how they, too, can talk to their Creator. That’s why each day this month I will be writing a prayer inspired by a different letter of the alphabet and sharing an accompanying verse from the Bible.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
Matthew 6: 25-27

Dearest Lord, thank you for providing for me. I give You my worries and fears and trust You will not leave me wanting for the basics in life. You care for the creatures of the earth, and You will certainly help me and my family. You are loving and just. Pour out Your blessings. My hope is in You and I will ever praise You for Your goodness. Amen.

Wow this is such a wonderful Challenge theme.

Finances is always one thing that people seem to struggle with when it comes to trusting God.

God Bless you this lovely Easter weekend. :-)

This prayer is beautiful, and I agree there is nothing more important to teach a child than that they can have a personal relationship with God.

I too love your theme. When extra funds come in, I am grateful, but forget that my security is not in money. It can be gone tomorrow. God alone provides what we need. We need to help each other remember that. Thank you!

Hi Sylvia!
I'm stopping by after you came by my blog yesterday for the A to Z! Thanks! I like your site! LOVE your article about Dictionaries and the Thesaurus! I could NOT live without either! To bad the link you had a year ago does not work today. Bummer. I'm sure I can do an online search and find it. I'll try as I would use that site a LOT!
Thanks again for stopping by my blog for the A to Z! This is what I LOVE about Blog Hopping for things such as this! We get to meet new people and see their Blogs!
