Weekend Rehabilitation

The kind of week I've had...

I'm self-prescribing chocolate, a couple of good books, and some time with my girls. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

What do you recommend reading while trying to escape stress?

  1. Sounds like a plan!

Copying the chocolate - but I'm writing my way through!

  2. Books, check. Chocolate, check. Time with loved ones, check. How about freshly laundered sheets and a pedicure?

I like reading books like Chocolat, or any little romance set in Paris. Cookbooks are good, too, but very, very dangerous if you aren't careful! ;)

I hope your weekend is stress-free.

  3. I love to read a good mystery ... a well-written one with a good puzzle to solve. Enjoy your week-end.

  4. I read Diana Gabaldon or something that takes me away from the present. I like history and have read most of her Outlander series and some of the Lord John books. Good luck, and remember, we all have those days, and weeks. . .

  5. Stress has taken up residence here. I'd watch "Fire-fly" and "Serenity" with Nathan Fillion, over and over.

  6. Hi, Sylvia. I've just finished reading The Lavendar Keeper by Fiona McIntosh. Such a well written story that grabs you from the offset - very relaxing. Have a lovely weekend.

  7. A little late, but one of my favorite books is All the Light We Cannot See. Hope you enjoyed your weekend rehabilitation!
