Insecure Writer’s Support Group and A to Z Challenge

It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click on the tab above and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. I encourage everyone to visit at least a dozen new blogs and leave a comment. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs.

Today is also the first day of the "A to Z Challenge" and as promised, my posts this month will be based on a Seuss-ism...

Today is about "Facing Up to Adversity" and while this theme can be found in MANY books, including Seuss titles, today's quote is from I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew.

No matter what struggles you are facing in your life - professional or personal - each day is a fresh start and a chance to conquer anything! Best of luck, and if you are participating in this challenge, I look forward to visiting with you!

  1. I enjoyed this Sylvia ... and am looking forward to reading all of the Seuss-isms you share this month. I don't know if you are still a part of the Writer's group in Lake Charles. I haven't been in forever as the drive is so long for me. But I often think of my writing friends that I met there and I do enjoy seeing your posts via Facebook and your blog. Blessings to you!

  7. What a great idea for the A to Z Challenge, Sylvia! Brilliant! I've been a Suess fan since he first started publishing. I've slid your illustration to my desktop for inspiration! I'm visiting today as an IWSG co-host, and I thank you for an inspiring post!
